South Carolina Palmetto Pals – Presidents

Hello all from the Palmetto Pals. We are en route again while writing this article for this edition of Legacy, on our way to New Bern, North Carolina for the North Carolina Tarheels Rally. We’re excited to see old friends, make some new ones and explore a city we’ve never stayed in. Can’t say enough about being involved in local chapter rallies. Food, fun, adventures, friends, and campfires!

Grace & I have a very busy month of May as we get our coach and ourselves ready to head west. We aren’t “planners” and usually just “wing it” as we go, so crossing our fingers we’ll find some amazing boondocking sights and hosts along the way!

Looking forward to our first Fulltimer Rally in Heber City, Utah and then heading straight to our second International Rally in Rock Springs, Wyoming. We met so many wonderful people last year, and we are looking forward to catching up in person.

April 4th was an exciting day as we eagerly awaited the Balloon Festival sign up page to open. This event has been on Grace’s bucket list for many years, and we got in! We are so excited that our “out west” trip will now be capped off with what will be such an exciting event.

So far, this year has been good for our chapter. We’ve gained enough new members that I had to order more chapter bars. We are still working on a luncheon in October before the Region Five Rally. And our wonderful Christmas at the Beach rally hosts are already making plans for another amazing rally this year!
