South Carolina Palmetto Pals – Presidents

Hello from South Carolina! The Palmetto Pals and the North Carolina Tarheel Kountry Klub held their joint Christmas at the Beach Rally at Ocean Lakes Family Campground the 7th through the 10th of December and everyone had a great time. We had 22 coaches with 43 attendees. The food was totally delicious, and no one left hungry. During the annual business meeting, elections were held, and Jim & I will be turning over the President and Secretary duties to Gene & Grace Failmezger. I’m certain that they will be awesome. We want to give our heartfelt thanks to everyone who helped at the rally and made it one to remember.

During the rally, we met a couple from Berlin, Germany with their custom-made coach at the campground and invited them to our dinner and games, which they thoroughly enjoyed. They are going to be traveling the United States and Canada for the next two years.

Our State Directors, Carl & Gayle Webber will be hosting the Carolinas (SC/NC) State Rally March 28 – April 1, at the River Bottom Farms Family Campground in Swansea, South Carolina. Please make sure to get your reservations in by January 25, 2022, as I’m sure it will be a great one at a new location.

Thanks to all members of the Palmetto Pals for entrusting Jim & I during our tenure as your President and Secretary and remind everyone to continue supporting Gene and Grace.

Hello everyone! We are Gene & Grace Failmezger, second generation Newmar owners, and very excited about our new roles as President and Secretary of the South Carolina Palmetto Pals. We have met some wonderful friends and mentors over the last two years as members of the Newmar Kountry Klub, and we look forward to meeting many more friends as we endeavor to promote and grow our Palmetto Pals and the Newmar Kountry Klub.
