South Carolina Palmetto Pals – Presidents

Hello all from the Palmetto Pals. When this edition of Legacy comes out, Grace & I should be somewhere out west enjoying the beautiful scenery and amazing places the US has to offer.

We survived the May car trip to/airline trip from Colorado (we’ve really become happiest traveling in our Newmar) to deliver our daughter and granddaughters back home just in time to pick up our son-in-law from a nine-month deployment. It truly was a joy to watch our 3-year-old granddaughter see her daddy for the first time in so long, and it was a deeply moving experience to realize just how much our Military men and women sacrifice for our freedoms. June 21st was our departure date for several big events in July… the Fulltimers Chapter Rally in Heber City, Utah and the 36th International Rally in Rock Springs, Wyoming.

We have updated our picture to a selfie taken at the North Carolina Tarheel Rally in New Bern, North Carolina back in April…one of our rally adventures was to find as many New Bern Bears as possible and get a selfie with them. Grace is a bit of an overachiever and had me walk and drive around the city to find 27 of the more than 50 in the city.

We again can’t say enough about being involved at the local level. Find your local Newmar Kountry Klub chapter and join it, or find several chapters where you stay/live often and join them as well! The food, fun, adventures, friends and campfires – plus a whole lot more await you!
