Winter has finally left here at beautiful Lake Gaston. Temperatures are increasing to mid-80s and low-90s. Now we are concerned about enough rain. We are lacking at our place, but I know others have had plenty. So, for now, it is yard work and upkeep on our RV-dominium. I tried to make it as maintenance free as possible. But there are standard things needed like cleaning windows for instance.

Our rally in New Bern was a huge success. As usual, we had some great food. The trolley tour of the city was interesting and educational. Our New Bern Bear hunt did not result in any bites, but lots of laughs from the “dress” of the bears.

Kathy & I are looking forward to our upcoming 3-month tour. It starts with a service on the coach in Gaffney, followed with the journey to Illinois and Iowa to visit Kathy’s family. Her mother turns a young 90 on July 4th! After some time with family, we will make our way out to Rock Springs, Wyoming for the International Rally, and a follow-on loop to the west and through the northwest states – providing the price of fuel does not soar too much.

Looking forward to all the great rallies coming up for the rest of the 2022. Christmas at the Beach is on the horizon, and the Tampa SuperShow is not far behind that. Check the NKK website for all listings. Remember that you can register for any of the rallies in the Newmar Kountry Klub if they have openings.
