Tennessee Volunteer Kruisers – President
Hello from the Tennessee Volunteer Kruisers Chapter! As you can tell, we are well on our way into a season of new rallies for 2022. I would like to take this opportunity to say “THANK YOU!” to all those who hosted a rally or show last year and to all those volunteers who dedicated their time and energy to see that these events were enjoyable to all attending. Already in the books for this year, our members have enjoyed the Florida Tampa RV Show (hosted by Gary Smith, Region Five Director and his army of volunteers) in January, along with The Gathering in the Desert – Quartzsite in Arizona. The Florida Manatees and the Florida Sea Turtles along with the Florida State Directors have held an array of rallies as well. Next, the North Carolina Tarheel chapter and the Carolina’s State Directors all did a great job as well. (I mention out-of-state rallies because we have several members who belong to more than one chapter!) Finally, our Tennessee State Directors, Phil & Charlene Budd, did an outstanding job of hosting their state rally at Two Rivers RV Park in Sevierville, Tennessee. These rallies were enjoyed by all who attended, and they could not have happened without our wonderful hosts and volunteers. THANK YOU! THANK YOU! We look forward to the remaining events for 2022, to meeting new friends and most of all to convincing more new friends, who we have yet to meet, to join us in sharing our chapter happenings.
Next, I would like to welcome our newest Volunteer Kruiser chapter members. Welcome to Don & Patti Liedtke from Spring Hill, Tennessee; David & Julie Baker from Murfreesboro, Tennessee; Larry Hicks from Sweetwater, Tennessee; Allan & Holly Smith from Mountain City, Tennessee; and Steven & Robyn Roscoe from Crossville, Tennessee. We truly appreciate all our new members for taking a chance on us and for joining in to all our gatherings.
As we are now heading into the summer months, truly warm weather and beginning our travels, I would like to remind everyone to check the Klub Calendar located on the Newmar Kountry Klub website (www.newmarkountryklub.com) to see if they might be traveling near other Newmar rallies. Don’t forget that you are welcome to attend any event being held in neighboring communities. Just one of the benefits of belonging to the NKK and we love it.
Keep in mind as you travel, if you see other Newmar coaches at any RV Park that you stop at, make the effort to say HELLO and meet a new friend. Encourage them to join the Kountry Klub if they are not already members. Typically, those who purchased their RV from a private party might not have heard about the Kountry Klub.
OK, time to close. My plan was to keep this short, and I don’t want to overstay my welcome. Enjoy your travels, your Newmar RV, and I look forward to renewing friendships and making new acquaintances at our next stop. More to come next time.
