As we sit down to write this article, we must first acknowledge a group of folks that made our 2021 State Rally a success. The rally was over yesterday and we are writing this 6/6/21.
First on our list is Brett Davis, CEO of National Indoor RV Centers (NIRVC). We reached out to Brett to be a sponsor of our state rally and with no hesitation Brett had David Hennessy, General Manager of NIRVC’s new facility in Nashville, contact us. Additionally, Brett had NIRVC’s Corporate Events Manager, Chuck Lasley and Heather Smith Manager of Rally Events, contact us.
These three, provided Marshall Hollinghead, RV Lifestyle Specialist from the Nashville store, NIRVC’s Rachel Zebrosky, who presented a RV Fire Safety Seminar, and NIRVC’s Corey Gann, who presented a RV Tire Safety Seminar. Corey Gann, also along with his two Tech’s, provided quotes for the Proteng fire suppression product and installed the system for those who purchased at the rally. NIRVC also brought a 2022 Ventana with a new floor plan, for our attendees to explore. To add icing to the cake, NIRVC sponsored several meals. Thank you, Mr. Davis, and the entire NIRVC crew.
We also want to thank all attendees who reached out to help during the rally. Our kitchen CREW, of Jerry & Sue Argabrite, Betty Bolte, and Denny & Sheryn Ward were invaluable during meal prep, serving and clean up. We thank you sooooo…much. You five truly made the word “Volunteer” shine! Thank you!
The Owners of Spring Lake RV Resort, Jeff & Marge Regan, gave Charlene & me incredible support for our rally from the time we first contacted them through the finish of the rally Saturday morning. We can’t thank them enough. Anyone traveling I-40 east or west going through Crossville, Tennessee and want a wonderful rest stop, SPRING LAKE RV RESORT is the place to layover. The resort is four miles north of I-40/exit 322. The resort is truly a “Gem” and once you have stayed there you will find it becoming one of your favorites.
Last comment on the rally, without folks attending there is “NO RALLY”! Charlene & I want to thank all who joined us and “Made” our Rally!!!
Make sure you go to the NKK website and register for our 2022 Rally at Two Rivers Landing RV Resort, Sevierville, Tennessee April 26th-May 1. We only have 25 sites and already, as this is written, we have 11 Newmar NKK couples registered.
Onward to Region Five Rally in Dillard, Georgia, October 12-17. What a great area, especially this time of year. Gary & Wanda Smith, our Region Five Directors, always put on a rally to remember. As we sign off a huge shout out to our International Directors Ron & Wanda Llewellyn for a spectacular 35th International Rally at Lewisburg, West Virginia. Thank you! Thank you to ALL our Region Directors for their total involvement in fulfilling their individual duties at the rally.
Now for a big hug for Klub Coordinator Linda Feece and Assistant DeAnn LaMaine for all they do all year long getting all the details completed for International and all the Special Events” and all of the many, many things to make Newmar Kountry Klub the best RV Klub in the World.
