Early forecasts predicted a mild winter. I believe many across our nation can agree that the weatherman was wrong again. It is nice to see God’s creations come alive as temps begin to warm.

Wanda and I would like to thank our Co-Hosts, Greg and Margie, all of the volunteers and attendees for making the Tampa Super Show a success. Please read the wrap up article in this edition of the Legacy. Congratulations to Joe and Jewel Symmes for winning the Farm & City Insurance drawing for $100.00. Thank you FCIS for sponsoring the Ice Cream Social.

We will be traveling a lot in the next months attending the state rallies within our Region. The State Directors have planned some awesome rallies and activities. Thanks to all the Directors for their dedication to the Newmar Kountry Klub membership.

We will see many of you at these rallies. We wish you safety and health as you travel and experience the camaraderie with old and new friends at these events.

An event that we sorely missed was the Pelicans Luncheon in February. This luncheon was a memorial service for Andy Hamor. We sent our feelings in a poem that Wanda wrote and that was read by the Florida State Directors. During the service many feel that Andy appeared giving his approval of the Celebration of Life.

Sometimes a friend just seems to appear,
And you know God placed them there;
An instant bonding begins to take place,
As the stories in life you share.

There were many words to describe you,
But my favorite word was friend;
I knew the moment I met you,
Our friendship would never end.

Faithfull was another word,
That seems to come to mind;
You were always there when needed,
You were truly one of a kind.

You were a walking book of knowledge,
There wasn’t much you didn’t know;
So anytime I had a problem,
I knew just where to go.

You were such a blessing to others,
Many lives you truly touched;
The time you spent helping other folks,
To many has meant so much.

When it comes to counting my blessings,
I always think of you;
I thank the Lord for the friendship we shared,
Cause friends like you are few.
