Peach State Krackers – President
We have just returned from a Peach State Krackers Christmas Luncheon at The Ole Times Country Buffet in Macon, Georgia where we held our annual meeting and played a game of Dirty Santa. The 2021 Officers were re-elected for 2022 and they are as follows: Donna Jones, President, Wayne Keith, Vice-President, and Carole Keith, Secretary & Treasurer. Good food, fun and fellowship was enjoyed by all.
Jerry & Pam Kloth, Peach State Krackers members for several years has decided to sell their coach due to health issues. We will miss seeing them at the Newmar events and we send them our prayers and good wishes.
We have a new puppy. We lost our dog, Harley a couple of years ago and a few months ago we started looking for another dog. We found our dog at a breeder’s located in North Alabama. She is a black Toy Poodle that should be no more than 7-8 pounds fully grown, a good size for traveling in a motorhome. Oh, my goodness she is so rambunctious and so much fun. Her name is Jasmine, but we call her Jazzy.
Registration for the International Rally in Rock Springs, Wyoming July 16-23, opens up on February 7. The Peach State Kracker’s plan to attend the International Rally.
A golfing event is being planned for one day during our rally on September 21-25 (4 nights). There are also plans to take a ride on the Blue Ridge Scenic Railway. The rally will be held at the Bald Mountain Park Camping Resort in Hiawassee, Georgia. This campground is listed as one of the upscale RV Resorts in Georgia. Registration is available online on the newmarkountryklub.com website.
The Mid South Tri State Rally for 2022 will be held May 2-6, at River Rocks Landing in Gadsden, Alabama. Information and registration is on the newmarkountryklub.com website.
The Region Five Rally will be held October 23-28, at Creek Fire RV Resort in Savannah, Georgia. Registration for this rally is full but call Gary Smith, Region Five Director and ask to be put on the waiting list.
If you live in Georgia, Alabama, or Mississippi and would like to meet fellow Newmar Owners that live in your home state, come, and join the Peach State Krackers. Meeting other Newmar Owners is an excellent way to learn about your motorhome and meet new people who enjoy doing the same thing you do. We always have good food to eat, we see interesting sites in the area and have plenty of fun and fellowship.
