We have just returned from our first Rally in the Keys, hosted by Region Five Directors, Gary & Wanda Smith and co-hosted by our International Directors, Ron & Wanda Llewelyn. We toured The Dolphin Research Center and Theater of the Sea. It was amazing to see the stunts that the dolphins and sea lions could do. We also took a tour of Pigeon Key, which served as a camp for railroad workers while they were constructing the Old Seven-Mile Bridge for the Flagler Railroad in the early 1900’s. The rally included a trolley-tour of Key West and a social hour everyday near the water to watch the beautiful sunsets. It was a great rally where we met many new NKK members. If you haven’t attended this rally you should plan to attend next year.

Now that we are back home, we are planning for our Spring Rally to be held May 5-8, at Lake Pines RV Park & Campground in Midland (Columbus), Georgia. Plans are being made to tour Callaway Gardens and the National Infantry Museum. There are many museums to explore, shopping and great restaurants in the area for you to enjoy as well. Register for this rally on the NKK website and then call the campground at 706-561-9675 to reserve your site.

If you live in Georgia, Alabama, or Mississippi and would like to meet fellow Newmar Owners that live in your home state, come and join the Peach State Krackers. Meeting other Newmar Owners is an excellent way to learn about your motorhome and meet some new people who enjoy doing the same thing you do. We always have good food to eat, we see interesting sites in the area and have plenty of fun and fellowship.
