Newmarians, it seems that there is no way to get away from being a Newmar Family. As you read this article, it is history. However, I am writing this message while Connie & I are on a Princess Cruise in the Mediterranean Ocean. We are missing the Florida State Rally which started on April 20 and was well attended by the Florida Pelicans. Greg & Margie Harrop, our State Directors, go thru great efforts each year to put together a memorable event for the members. Thank you for all that you do for us.

The Pelican annual Leaving Florida Rally was a great success. It was hosted by Jim & Mary Kennedy, Pat Hartman, Cathy & Rich Queen, and Emily Mercier. The Upriver Campground seems like an ideal rally location. We already have hosts and reservations in place for 2023.

For now, we are on summer break as members are out and about in their Newmar machines. The International Rally will be our next gathering. Most everyone is aware of it unless you’re brand new to the Newmar Family. It is being held in Rock Springs, Wyoming in late July. If you haven’t signed on, you’re missing the highlight of Newmar gatherings each year. Connie & I have decided to do some volunteering for the International this year. So, if you’re attending, we may be out there to welcome you as you arrive.

Prior to the COVID fiasco, Connie & I had toured most of Wyoming, and it is probably our favorite State, along with Colorado, to spend the summer months.

Now back to the present moment. The Pelicans want to welcome three new members who have joined our Flock. They are Whit & Mary Ann Courtenay, former members Wayne & Sue Burke, and Tim & Catherine Roach who just acquired their first Newmar. We are delighted that you joined. I hope that you become involved and bring inspiration and new ideas to the Klub.
