The Manatees joined the rest of the Newmar Kountry Klub members at the Tampa RV Show for a chance to greet old friends and make new ones. The Manatees welcomed eight new members at the Florida State meeting, hosted by Greg & Margie Harrop. Together with the Sea Turtles and the Pelicans, we had a great gathering in the Newmar tent. Once again, we want to thank all the Newmar Service personnel who took such great care of us and our rigs. They never disappoint!

Barbara and Tom Palmer have restarted hosting our NKK luncheons in Jacksonville, Florida on the second Thursday of the month through April at 1:30 am at The Olive Garden, 6050 Youngerman Circle, Orange Park, Florida (SE Jacksonville). The Sea Turtles and the Pelicans are also hosting luncheons in Florida, and you are all welcome if you are in the area or passing through.

By the time this goes to print we will have our first rally of the year behind us! We are looking forward to checking the new facilities at Oak Alley RV Resort in Webster Florida, just “a stone’s throw” from the largest Flea Market in Florida.

As this is written we will be in Clerbrook Golf & RV Resort March 17-20 where we are looking forward to a friendly golf outing at their course. Dave Shank has been working hard to set up an enjoyable itinerary in the local area.

There’s no better way to make new friends than to jump in and volunteer at rallies. We encourage all new members to let us know if you are willing to assist, and we will share the available opportunities with you.
