Greetings from the Florida Manatees. Things have quieted down in Florida as many of our snowbirds have headed out across the country to see the cooler weather, if it’s out there! Having spent the winter in the Texas Hill Country, we returned to Florida in March to make some changes. We have just settled into a new port home in Polk City, Florida, where there is a large flock of Manatees, Sea Turtles, and Fulltimers. 

We are looking forward to getting to know them all in the coming months. We hope to see many of you at the upcoming Fulltimers Rally in Wytheville, Virginia and the International Rally in Lewisburg, West Virginia.

We are looking forward to our Rally at Pecan Park RV Resort in Jacksonville November 12-15. And we are planning a little something different in the spring. We have scheduled our first “Boondocking Rally” in Fort White, Florida for April 7-11, 2022. This will be a chance for Experienced Boondockers as well as “Newbies” to share experiences and learn how to manage coaches in the absence of hookups. This rally will be in partnership with Boondockers Welcome which has recently merged with Harvest Hosts. Stay tuned for more information on registration and participation in the great opportunity!

NKK Luncheons are scheduled to restart in the Jacksonville area in November, sponsored by the Florida Manatees. Check the NKK Calendar for details. We are also planning to add a rally in February. Enjoy your liberation this summer and be safe out there!
