Summer is fast approaching and hopefully you have many camping trips in the works. So many options for caravans are being offered through the Kountry Klub. Be sure to check out the website for the latest. We hope our members take the opportunity to sample these trips. All the work is done for you, you just have to have the fun!

Locally in Ontario, we are finding it difficult to secure rally sites for weekend outings. Many campgrounds have gone to weekly, monthly and/or seasonal sites only. Along with the surge of new campers over the past two years, the search for acceptable rally sites is further afield and not easily obtained. Any suggestions from our members would be appreciated.

The planned spring rally for the Aurum Kountry Travelers has been cancelled. The Chapter is currently working on a September outing, and as we receive information concerning this event, we will pass it along.

On a sad note, long time Klub member Marilyn Jenkins passed away in March. Ken & Marilyn were very active Klub members. Taking on the Region Eight Directors duties and running numerous caravans to the Maritimes and Newfoundland were among their achievements. Marilyn will be missed by all.

One last chance to attend International in Rock Springs Wyoming, July 16-23. We will be heading out soon to make our way there. Hope to see you in Wyoming.
