SUMMARY:Kentucky Thoroughbreds Chapter Rally in the Gorge
DESCRIPTION:Red River Gorge spans 29\,000 acres in east-central Kentucky and boasts an intricate canyon system of cliffs\, natural bridges\, rock shelters and an abundance of waterfalls. We will hike one of the most popular and picturesque trails in Red River Gorge – Creation Falls via Rock Bridge Trail. It is a 1.4 mile out-and-back trail considered a moderately challenging hike. We will also take the mile-long Sky Lift up to Natural Bridge for a bird’s eye view of the mountain scenery. Once at the top\, we will take a foot path to the lookout point over 75 feet long\, 65 feet high natural bridge formed from 900 tons of sandstone. \nYour rally fee will include welcome bag and welcome dinner Thursday night\, meat for Pot Luck dinner Saturday night\, campfire and S’mores\, sendoff breakfast of Danish and fruit. We will be going to Miguels Pizza for dinner Friday night\, cost on your own\, after our trip to Red River Gorge.  Saturday will be a free day or go back to the Gorge for more exploring. \nContact 4 Guys RV Park for reservations and tell them you are with the Newmar Kountry Klub.
