SUMMARY:09-22-2026 | Colorado State Rally
DESCRIPTION:Be sure to register on this site for one of the 25 sites we are expecting to fill.  The campground will be accepting reservations starting January 1\, 2026.  At that time\, please call Kathy\, at the campground\, at 970-565-3388 or 970-749-5823.  If you have registered on the NKK website\, I will contact you to remind you to make your site reservation. You must register on the NKK website in order to be counted as a participant.  When we receive your registration\,  we will add you to the email list of our attendees and you’ll be kept informed of all updates\,  and schedules and planned activities. \nDolores is a small gateway town with great access to archaeology\, water recreation\, hiking\, mountain biking and scenic drives. The elevation is 6\,936 and the average temperatures in September are highs of 75 and lows of 48.  Of course the main event here is Mesa Verde National Park which is just a short drive from the campground.  Some other options for activities are: \nWorld class cliff dwellings\, overlooks and museum at Mesa Verde National Park \nThe Anasazi Heritage Center \nMcPhee Reservoir- which is great for a full day outing \nCanyons of the Ancients National Monument \nTrail of the Ancients Scenic Byway and other local byways connecting historic and archaeological sites \nHovenweep National Monument and other Four Corners ruins that are nearby \nDurango is about 45-60 minutes away and is the home of the Durango & Silverton Narrow Gauge Railroad (a must do for this area!)  You can ride the train up to Silverton and then take the bus back to Durango.  This is a full day event. \nOutdoor activities like Fishing in the Dolores River and McPhee Reservoir\,  off roading and 4X4 touring\, paddle sports and boating\, hiking and mountain biking on the many trails in the canyon country. \nWe will be putting together some of these activities for you to enjoy\, and we’ll have some meals together\, evening fireside gatherings together\, and lots of comaraderie with your fellow Newmarians!  You will also have time to explore on your own. \nThere will be something for everybody at our event\, so sign up today so you will not miss this opportunity! SUMMARY:Colorado State Rally
DESCRIPTION:Creede is a small mining town located in Southwestern CO and tucked into the San Juan mountains. It owes it existence to the mining of spectacular silver deposits and is known for popular attractions like the award winning Creede Repertory Theater\, the Wheeler Geologic Area\, the Last Chance Mine and Underground Mining Museum\, North Clear Creek Falls\, the Silver Thread Scenic Byway\, and charming 1890’s storefronts.\nAfter registering\, call Genevieve at 719-658-2710 to make your reservation. You may also reserve online using the Group Code “02”. There is a 10% discount for our group\, and the daily rate is $75 plus tax. They have reserved 25 sites for NKK with a deadline of Feb. 15\, 2025. When you call\, and if you’d like to be in the “resort side” of this park\, let them know you are part of the NKK group so they can release a site from our group hold. The resort side cannot be reserved until after Feb 1 as owners have until then to decide if they want to be in the rental pool\, or not. Expect to pay a much higher rate on the resort side. Also note\, on their website\, the specific rules for renting in the resort area of this RV park.\nThe rally fee range will likely be $275-$325 per coach\, TBD when we have finalized our tours and meals and attendance numbers. DESCRIPTION:Fort Collins is in northern Colorado and is known for its vibrant culture\, outdoor recreational opportunities and as a hub for craft brewing. It is home to several well known breweries including New Belgium\, Odell Brewery and the Ft Collins Brewery. It is the home\, also\, to Noosa yogurt and the Morning Fresh Dairy in nearby Bellvue. Horsetooth Reservoir is a popular spot for hiking\, boating\, fishing and picnicing. Colorado State University\, and it’s beautiful campus offers a wonderful place to walk or bike. The Cache La Poudre River Trail is another scenic place that is perfect for walking\, jogging and biking. There is an old Town Square which is a charming area with historic buildings\, shops and a variety of dining options. \nCome early\, or stay later\, and enjoy all that Ft Collins has to offer! \nAfter registering on this website\, please call the campground and secure your own reservation.  The KOA accepts a 10% discount if you are a member of their rewards program.   Their number is: 970-484-9880.  Tell them you are with the Colorado Kruisin Aires.  Rates are as follows: Tues May 20 is $95 plus tax.  Wed. May 21 is $95 plus tax.
