SUMMARY:05-18-2026 | Tennessee State Rally
DESCRIPTION:This is a beautiful new campground located near Knoxville\, TN.  Please call the camp directly at 865-284-1071 or 865-284-1069 and mention the Newmar rally to receive the discounted rate of $48.75 per night.  The discount is only valid for bookings made between the 15th and the 21st.  Please note that bookings made outside of these dates will not reflect the discounted rate . \nWe have set the rally fee at $370.00.  This will cover the tours and you will enjoy two full breakfasts and three complete dinners. \nMost of our meals will be catered by the Jellystone Watts Bar RV Park and held in The Lodge. \nAll meals at the Jellystone will have utensils\, coffee and water. \nThe closing dinner will be held at Calhoun’s\, known for Tennessee BBQ.   Calhoun’s is located at the Loudon Lake Marina overlooking the water. \nOn getaway Friday\, we’ll have donuts and fruit cups ready for a quick grab-and-go. \nTuesday night we present for your enjoyment\, the Wild Bill and the Brusiers band from Nashville. They will bring that full-tilt\, wild-eyed old school country/rockabilly vibe and showmanship that unfortunately has been missing in our lives.  Check them out here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jdHonr8pjDQ&list=RDjXUPGO8-YmM&index=2 \nTours include the American Museum of Science and Energy (AMSE) and the K-25 History Center.   AMSE tells the story of the advances in science and engineering that have occurred in Oak Ridge since the first days of the Manhattan Project.  They are a national resource that is proud to be located in east Tennessee. \nThe K-25 History Center honors the amazing men and women who helped construct and operate the K-25 uranium enrichment complex\, first as part of the Manhattan Project. \nWe’ll be visiting the The Globe/Temco Swift Museum at the McMinn County Airport in Athens\, Tennessee.  This unique museum showcases a remarkable collection of Swift aircraft. DESCRIPTION:To make your reservations\, please call and speak to Donna or Anna only on Wed\, Thur or Friday. The site rate is approximately $45/night. You must mention the Newmar Rally to receive a 10% discount. You may not combine other discounts.\nSpace is limited to 20 coaches: 15 are 50 amp sites and 5 are 30 amp sites. Cost includes 3 meals\, 2 breakfasts and all events.\nScheduled events include a backstage tour of the Ryman Auditorium and a trip to Andrew Jackson’s Hermitage\, home of America’s 7th President. We have plans to take a 90 minute narrated open bus tour of Nashville. Live music band at the campground on Tuesday after dinner. There is a factory tour of the Nissan manufacturing facility in Smyrna\, TN. Of course\, good fellowship and great food are on the menu!\nThis campground is about 30 minutes from most Nashville attractions. It is\, as mentioned on their web site\, a “no frills campground. I have a 45 foot coach and had no issue getting into my spot.
