June!! Can you believe it’s June already? We are half way through 2022 – Wow time flies!

In the first six months we have been able to attend six rallies and one luncheon in five states and three regions. And we will be heading to our seventh rally of the year shortly. At all of these rallies we have seen many new and first time attendees. The Kountry Klub is thriving and that is wonderful. We attend these rallies to support the Klub and to talk to you the members about the Klub. We are your voice on the board of directors. We want your input about what the Klub is doing right and what we could do better to make your experience in the Klub even more enjoyable, and we do pass on what you tell us. This is your Klub, and you are the ones making the difference, thank you.

The upcoming International Rally in Rock Springs, Wyoming is just over a month away. By the way there is still room if you are new to the Klub or have been sitting on the fence. This year all the spots are 50 AMP, Full hookup. Reservation deadline is July 8. Think of all fun you’ll have and the new friends you will meet when you do attend. We hope to see you there. The App ‘Grupio’ will be used again this year, and the Klub Office hopes to have all the current information loaded by July 1st. If you are attending, please consider taking a look at the App before you get to the rally so you can have a game plan when you arrive on what seminars and talks you would like to attend. Although most are open to everyone, a few may have limited seating, and you will need to sign up either when you register or before with the Klub Office. An example are the craft classes that have been announced in The Happenings and the Legacy Magazine, that have an additional fee for supplies and are limited in class size.

There will also be an opportunity for you to volunteer during the rally, if you are so inclined. We encourage everyone to volunteer at least once. This rally, as with all Newmar rallies, runs on volunteers. Some of the areas that will need volunteers will be food services, shuttles carts, Klub store, photographers and information desk. Once you arrive and are set up, hurry over to the registration area and get signed up.

If you already have plans and cannot attend this year’s International Rally, mark your calendars for next year – we are heading to Sedalia, Missouri, September 30 – October 7, 2023.

There are Rallies and Special Events on the calendar for this year and even a few shaping up for next year’s calendar including Canadian Rockies & Calgary Stampede Caravan and an Alaskan Cruise in July 2023. There are many opportunities to meet new friends and use that beautiful Newmar products you own, find a rally and get it rolling.

Last article we told you about the Quilts of Valor Foundation, and that we would be collecting quilts squares during International. I made an error in writing and stated that the squares should be 12 1/4 x 12 1/4. That information was wrong. The correct side is 12.5 x 12.5 inches. If you have already made squares that are 12 1/4 x 12 1/4 please bring them ,and we will create a quilt top to be donated. I apologize for the confusion.
