We Have Two Remaining Events for 2021
At this time the Branson Christmas Show Rally is sold out. Dates of the event are November 7-14, 2021.If you are interested in attending please email the Klub office kountryklub@newmarcorp.com and ask to be added to the standby list in case of any emergency cancellations.
We unfortunately had a few cancellations for our previously sold out Rally in the Keys which now has openings. Rally dates are December 5-11. We will be staying at the newly renovated Fiesta Key Resort with 50 amp full hookup sites. Enjoy a daily social at sunset and time to explore on your own or just sit back and relax. Included will be two dinners and three breakfasts and an ice cream social. We have several tours set up: the Pigeon Key Boat Tour, Dolphin Research Center, Theater of the Sea Tour and a Key West Trolley Tour. Gary & Wanda Smith will be your experienced rally hosts. Kicking Off 2022 We Have Two Annual Events
First up for our members in the southeast is the Tampa SuperShow Rally scheduled for January 18-23. This is now sold out, and we are taking standbys in case of any cancellations. Email the Klub office kountryklub@newmarcorp.com and ask to be added to the standby list.
For our members in the southwest we have the Quartzsite Gathering in the Desert Rally. The dates are January 19-24. We normally have over 100 units “Gather” with us! All Newmar owners and their guests are invited; you do not need to be a member to join the fun. Come watch the beautiful sunsets and visit the Quartzsite Sports, Vacation & RV Show. This event will be hosted again by Ruth Ann & Ted Hindes.
As in past years we will provide or coordinate a few meals; some will require contributions by all attendees. Activities planned so far include social hours each afternoon and campfires each evening weather permitting. There will also be seminars by vendors and attendees.
The Newmar group is located in the same area – about 6 miles south of town on Bureau of Land Management land. Parking is free for up to 14 days. 2022 Newfoundland/Eastern Provinces Caravan – Opening for Reservations November 29
Come join us, May 16 – June 29, for 47 days as we travel through four of the eastern Canada’s provinces. You will discover the vibrant communities of the Maritimes as you are journeying through New Brunswick, Nova Scotia, Prince Edward Island, and Newfoundland.
You will explore Hopewell Rocks, Joggins Fossil Cliffs along with L’Anse Aux Meadows Historical Site, the only know Viking grounds in North America. Arriving in Newfoundland by ferry you will be amazed at the rugged beauty of this land, you will be Screeched-In to become an honorary Newfoundlander. Many shows await you including the Ann of Green Gables Musical, and the Royal Canadian Tattoo where you will be entertained by hundreds of musicians, marching bands, acrobats, dancers and military competitions.
You will be able to view the reversing Rapids as the tides of the Bay of Fundy actually force the waters at the mouth of the St. John River to reverse its flow. During our journey we will take boat tours to see Puffins, Whales, Lighthouses, and maybe an Iceberg or two. We are sure you will enjoy the Viking feast and dinner shows planned for you! A tour bus will guide us along the famous Cabot Trail. One of our many stops will be in a UNESCO site – Grose Morne National Park. (Itinerary subject to change.)
Cost of event: Two (2) People in Unit – $8,735.00 and One (1) Person in Unit – $5,390.00.
As the 2021 caravan was cancelled due to the US/Canadian Border being closed earlier this year, those members who were registered when we cancelled will be contacted ahead of time to register. Remaining sites will then open for reservations on Monday, November 29 @ 10:00 am eastern time through our website. We expect it will sell out within the first half hour as it has in the past. All New Event – Taste of the West Caravan – Opening for Reservations December 13
Come join us for a 24-day, 23-night Taste of the West adventure that begins from the International Rally in Rock Springs, Wyoming. Dates are July 23-August 15. We will be visiting Wyoming, Nebraska, South Dakota, North Dakota and Montana. There are 8 travel days covering 1,545 fun filled miles.
Some of the things we will do and see include Mount Rushmore, Crazy Horse Monument, Little Bighorn Battlefield, ride an 1880 steam train, Medora Pitchfork fondue dinner and musical, a frontier prison, Cody Rodeo and Yellowstone National Park just to name a few. In Custer State Park and in Yellowstone we will see buffalo, elk, deer, bears, pronghorns, bighorn sheep, coyotes, wild turkeys, bald eagles, and maybe even a wolf. Along the way there will be free time to visit numerous sights not part of the caravan on your own or with the new friends you meet on our journey.
Caravan leaders will be Marty & Marion Marcum. Rally fees for this event are $5,100.00 for two in a unit and $3,400.00 for one in a unit.

Alaskan Caravan – Scheduled for July 23-September 10, 2022
Alaska – Land of the Midnight Sun! Join us on this approximately 49-day caravan for a trip of a lifetime. We will leave from the International Rally in Rock Springs, Wyoming on July 23 where we will head “North to Alaska”. Our travels will take us through Montana, Alberta, Yukon and ending in Fairbanks, Alaska on September 10.
You can expect to see scenery of unspoiled nature, majestic mountains, glaciers, fjords, crystal clear lakes, waterfalls, and the National Parks. Alaska has some of the world’s most scenic highways like the Seward Highway or Denali Park Road perfect for an unforgettable road trip. We will learn about Alaska’s rich and varied history that includes the Native Indians, Russian fur traders and gold miners. We will post our signs at the Sign Post Forest a collection of signs at Watson Lake, Yukon. It is one of the most famous landmarks along the Alaska Highway. You will visit Denali National Park where we will admire Mt. Denali. We will enjoy many meals, local live entertainment, boat tours, pan for gold, socials, and a breathtaking train ride. Alaska, known as the Last Frontier, is famous for its abundant wildlife. From bears to moose, eagles, bison, caribou, and many more. Alaska provides home to many members of the animal kingdom. Some of them can be found only in this part of the world. We will learn about the famous Iditarod Dog Sled Race. This caravan is rich with breathtaking views, historic sites, tantalizing food and great entertainment. You will take away a lifetime of memories! The Alaskan Caravan will be led by Dave & Joanne Killey and Gordon & Elaine Mackenzie.
At this time we are still working out the final details and will have final pricing in the November Happenings and December Legacy magazine. Additional 2022 Special Events Being Planned
Looking ahead we have a few more events proposed for 2022:
- We are starting preliminary plans for a possible all new Smokey Mountain Event in fall.
- We are looking at repeating the Black Hills Rally prior to the International Rally.
- We anticipate our annual late fall/early winter events will again be on the agenda including: the Albuquerque Balloon Fiesta Rally in October, Branson Christmas Rally in November and the Rally in the Keys in December.
