Check this amazing caravan trip off your bucket list! Come join us, May 16 – June 29, for 47 days as we travel through four of eastern Canada’s provinces. You will discover the vibrant communities of the Maritimes as you are journeying through New Brunswick, Nova Scotia, Prince Edward Island, and Newfoundland.
You will explore Hopewell Rocks, Joggins Fossil Cliffs along with L’Anse Aux Meadows Historical Site, the only know Viking grounds in North America. Arriving in Newfoundland by ferry you will be amazed at the rugged beauty of this land, you will be Screeched-In to become an honorary Newfoundlander. Many shows await you including the Royal Canadian Tattoo where you will be entertained by hundreds of musicians, marching bands, acrobats, dancers and military competitions.
You will be able to view the reversing Rapids as the tides of the Bay of Fundy actually force the waters at the mouth of the St. John River to reverse its flow. During our journey we will take boat tours to see Puffins, Whales, Lighthouses, and maybe an Iceberg or two. We are sure you will enjoy the Viking feast and dinner shows planned for you! A tour bus will guide us along the famous Cabot Trail. One of our many stops will be in a UNESCO site – Grose Morne National Park. (Itinerary subject to change.)
Caravan leaders will once again be Dave & Joanne Killey with Marty & Marion Marcum as tailgunners. Go to Klub Calendar and click on Newfoundland/Maritines Caravan to see complete details or to register.
