Are you making your plans to attend the Newmar Kountry Klub International Rally in Sedalia, Missouri? Parking for the International begins on Friday, September 29, 2023. Are you interested in spending a day exploring a small portion of what the Show Me State has to offer?

On Saturday, September 30, 2023, we will be hosting an organized tour to the Missouri Quilt Co. in Hamilton, Missouri for one day only. The town of Hamilton, Missouri was going the way of a lot of small American towns years ago, when a young woman named Jenny Doan moved to town. Jenny was an avid quilter when her son approached her about doing online video tutorials, now with over 210 million views. Jenny is considered by many to be the “world’s most famous quilter.” Jenny became the face of the Missouri Star Quilt Co.

The tour features luxury motorcoach transportation departing from and returning to the Sedalia State Fairgrounds. You will enjoy a “trunk show” presented by Edie McGinnis, former associate editor of the Kansas City Star Quilts. Edie has published 18 quilt books along with numerous articles and quilt patterns. She has been the technical writer for Block Magazine for Missouri Star Quilt Co.

You will enjoy a catered lunch as well as time to stroll and shop in the town known as the “Disneyland for Quilters.”

Since this will be a 12-hour day, a to-go “sack-supper” will be included for the trip back to the Fairgrounds.
