What a show we had this year. According to the Florida RV Trade Association over 20,000 people were at the show opening day. As for Newmar, we had 412 members and guests.
Our rally tent was quite busy this year beginning with a welcome social at 5 pm on Tuesday. The Florida Chapters Social hosted by Gregg and Margie Harrop was held on Thursday. Some chapters used the tent to hold individual socials.
Beginning on Thursday and every morning thereafter we had coffee and donuts. The Newmar Kountry Klub Store was open on Thursday and Saturday.
On Thursday we were honored to have Kevin Bogan, President of the Kountry Klub, along with Newmar Corporation executives for an open discussion on Newmar products. This is always an informative time for the membership.
Following this was our Ice Cream Social sponsored by Farm & City Insurance Co.
On Friday, Carl Webber hosted a Tech Talk with guest speakers from Spartan and Freightliner. This was well attended and informative for coach owners.
An additional educational treat this year was Norbert Drust, with the NewPro Technical Training trailer for three sessions of advanced training. This was an exceptional time for the 120 individuals in attendance.
Lastly on Saturday we had our Second Annual Cornhole Tournament. Gregg Harrop, Florida State Director, has comments on this in his article.
If you missed being at this year’s show, make your plans for the Tampa Super Show 2023.
