Presidents – Fulltimers Chapter
“Though miles may lie between us, we are never far apart, for friendship doesn’t count miles, it’s measured by the heart.” ~ Unknown
Congratulations to the new chapter officers recently inducted at the NKK Fulltimers Chapter’s Rally and thank you for taking on the leadership of an amazing group.
We’re sure both the Fulltimers Rally and the International Rally were great successes! It’s always a good time when we come together to spend time with friends, old and new. Thank you to all the volunteers who helped at either rally and which make these things possible. Thank you also to anyone that contributed to our local humanitarian cause this year, The Christian Center of Park City. We sponsored two of their programs – Snacks in Backpacks and Back 2 School Basics in keeping with our chapter’s legacy of leaving the area of our rally better off from our being there. Thanks to our Vice Presidents Lynn & Hal Fryer for all their work with finding a worthy cause to sponsor.
The Fulltimers Chapter has some exciting things planned in the coming months. We want to bring your attention to a new rally hosted by the Fulltimers this fall in the Nashville, Tennessee area. Henry & Mary Blankenship will be rally hosts for a Fall Harvest Celebration October 23-28 at the Wilson County Fairgrounds in Lebanon, Tennessee. Rally fee will include 50 amp hookup and water (dump station on site) with four meals and tours of such sites as the State Capitol, Bicentennial Mall, Parthenon, Opryland, Opryland Hotel, Broadway in Nashville. Registration started on the NKK Website on June 28, 2022. The Rally fee has not yet been determined as this article goes to press. Check out the rally for more information on the NKK Calendar of Events.
Plans are firming up for the Second Annual Holly Jolly Rally in Punta Gorda, Florida December 4-8 at Creekside RV Resort. Registration started on June 6, and at press time is more than half full. We will be taking 30 reservations and will maintain a waitlist for the event. The holiday themed rally is planned to include dinners, lunches, breakfast every day including a hot breakfast, a tour of the Edison-Ford Museum in nearby Ft Myers and a sunset harbor cruise to view Holiday lights on the Kingfisher boat and an evening of live entertainment. Check the NKK Klub Calendar for more details. Rally fee is $160 with campsite not included.
Dave Shank & Lynn Barley are busy traveling in their Dutch Star visiting possible sites for the Fulltimers Rally and Annual Business Meeting 2023.
The NKK International Rally will be held at the Missouri State Fairground in Sedalia, Missouri September 30-October 7, 2023. Stay tuned for the announcement of the location of the Fulltimers Pre-rally.
We are hoping to see many of you as we travel the country this year. We are writing this while parked in the middle of Iowa on a very HOT June afternoon. Stay safe, happy travels.
