SUMMARY:06-11-2026 | Colorado Kruisin Aires Rally
DESCRIPTION:Are you ready for wide-open skies\, the spirit of adventure\, and a taste of the Old West? The Colorado Kruisin Aires Spring Rally is set to roll into Cody\, Wyoming from June 11–14\, 2026\, offering attendees a unique opportunity to immerse themselves in history\, culture\, and fun. Whether you’re an RV enthusiast\, history buff\, or simply someone looking for a memorable getaway\, this rally promises experiences that will bring the past to life and create lasting memories for all ages. \nWhy Cody\, Wyoming?\nNestled at the doorstep of Yellowstone National Park\, Cody is a town steeped in Western lore. Founded by the legendary Buffalo Bill Cody\, it serves as a gateway to some of the most spectacular landscapes and historical sites in the region. Its rich heritage\, cowboy charm\, and vibrant local culture make it the perfect destination for a rally that celebrates the spirit of the Old West. \nRally Highlights and Included Activities\nThe Colorado Kruisin Aires Spring Rally is designed to offer a mix of guided tours\, entertaining events\, and culinary delights. Registration covers a variety of experiences\, carefully curated to showcase the best of Cody’s history and hospitality. \n\nMeet Tom O’Day\, the Outlaw Storyteller: On the first evening\, attendees will gather at the park for an unforgettable session with Tom O’Day\, a member of the infamous Hole In The Wall Gang. Tom will share tales from his colorful past as a (sometimes) outlaw during the 1880s and 1890s. His stories will transport you back to an era of lawmen\, desperados\, and frontier justice\, providing a vivid glimpse into the real-life adventures that shaped the West.\nBuffalo Bill Center of the West — Private Guided Museum Tour: Rally-goers will enjoy a private tour of the acclaimed Buffalo Bill Center of the West. This remarkable institution houses five world-class museums under one roof\, including the Buffalo Bill Museum\, the Plains Indian Museum\, the Cody Firearms Museum\, the Draper Natural History Museum\, and the Whitney Western Art Museum. Tickets are valid for both Friday and Saturday\, allowing participants to explore at their own pace and absorb the rich narratives and artifacts that define Western history.\nDinner and a Show at The Cody Cattle Company: One of the rally’s culinary highlights is an all-you-can-eat BBQ feast at The Cody Cattle Company. With all the classic fixings\, this meal is followed by a rip-roaring musical show starring Ryan Martin and the Triple C Cowboys. Expect lively tunes\, toe-tapping entertainment\, and plenty of opportunities to mix and mingle with fellow rally attendees.\n1890’s Old Trail Town — Self-Guided Historic Tour: Step back in time with a visit to Old Trail Town\, an authentic frontier settlement featuring buildings over a century old. The Museum of the Old West\, gravesites\, and mountain men memorials are all part of the experience. Wander through preserved cabins\, saloons\, and shops\, imagining the lives of those who carved out a living on the rugged frontier.\nDinner at Buffalo Bill’s Irma Hotel: No visit to Cody is complete without a meal at the historic Irma Hotel\, built in 1902 and listed on the National Register of Historic Places. The hotel’s famous cherrywood bar\, a gift from Queen Victoria\, is a must-see and one of the most photographed features in town. Rally participants can tour the hotel and enjoy a Prime Rib Dinner\, with alternative menu options available to suit all tastes. The Irma’s ambience and rich history make it a centerpiece of the Cody experience.\n\nOptional Tours and Activities\nBeyond the core rally events\, attendees can opt for additional adventures. The trolley car tour of Cody offers a guided exploration of the town’s landmarks\, while Rodeo Nights present a chance to witness authentic western rodeo action. Both options immerse participants further into the vibrant local culture\, providing unforgettable glimpses into the traditions and excitement that define the region. \nExtend Your Stay: Explore Yellowstone and Meeteetse\nFor those with Yellowstone National Park on their bucket list\, the rally organizers recommends extending your stay. Cody is approximately a two-hour drive from Yellowstone’s east entrance\, making it an excellent base for park adventures. Alternatively\, a short 30-minute drive takes you to Meeteetse\, a charming town with a cowboy chocolatier\, fascinating museums\, and classic boardwalks. Whether you’re seeking natural wonders or small-town ambiance\, there’s so much to see and do in this corner of Wyoming. \nRegistration and Logistics\nSpots for the Colorado Kruisin Aires Spring Rally fill quickly\, so early registration is encouraged for those interested in joining the adventure. The terrain features spires\, buttes\, and scarp walls rising approximately 500 feet above the river valley floor. The Green River stretches 730 miles from its headwaters in Utah’s Wind River Mountains to its confluence with the Grand River\, forming the Colorado River. In 1921\, legislative action renamed the Grand River to the Colorado River\, thereby shifting the official headwaters of the Colorado River from Utah’s Wind Mountains to Colorado’s Central Rockies. The region was originally inhabited by the Fremont culture\, followed by the Shoshone and Ute tribes\, and later fur traders in the 1800s. The area was named Flaming Gorge by John Wesley Powell in 1869 during his exploration\, inspired by the striking red sandstone cliffs. In 1969\, the construction of a dam on the Green River led to the creation of the 91-mile Flaming Gorge Reservoir\, which supplies hydroelectric power to surrounding communities. The dam fundamentally altered the local ecosystem\, transforming approximately 28 miles of the Green River into a renowned “Blue Ribbon Trout Fishery” due to the cold water released from the dam. We invite you to participate in an 8-hour guided motorcoach excursion to explore the Flaming Gorge National Recreation Area. The tour package includes transportation by motorcoach\, an experienced interpretive guide\, snacks\, a boxed lunch\, as well as applicable taxes and gratuities. In order to participate\, you must arrive one day early and check-in at the International Rally on Friday\, June 19\, 2026. $72 PER PERSON\n\n\n\n\n\n\nRock Springs 4 x 4 Roll-Out Excursion: Date: Saturday\, June 20 – Depart 9:30 am and 12:30 pm – Is your tow vehicle a Jeep\, a Bronco\, or another 4-wheel drive off-road vehicle? Have you ever had it on an off-road trail? If so\, this is your opportunity to enjoy an off-road experience in your own vehicle and see some of the natural scenery of the Rock Springs area. A local group of experienced off-roaders will be your guides as you explore the outback of Wyoming. They say these few hours will be “relatively easy” off-roading (this from a group that does Hell’s Revenge in Moab for warm-up). Your fee includes guides and a charitable donation to the Cowboys Against Cancer. The cost of this event is per vehicle\, regardless of the number of occupants. Please bring water and any snacks you would like. You will be notified of your departure time for this adventure when you receive your registration packet at the International Rally. In order to participate\, you must arrive one day early and check in at the International Rally on Friday\, June 19\, 2026. This is NOT per person – $65 PER VEHICLE.\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nGolf Tournament:\n\n\nDate: Wednesday June 24 – Please join us for a fun day of golf at the White Mountain Golf Course located adjacent to the Sweetwater Event Center fairgrounds. This year the tournament will be held on Wednesday morning with a shotgun start at 9:00 a.m. Entry fee is for 18 holes of golf\, golf cart\, green fees\, lunch and prizes. Space is limited so be sure to sign up when you register for the rally. The golf course has a fully stocked pro shop\, locker rooms and a snack shop. Information concerning this meeting will also be included in the 2026 International Rally Whova phone app. $70 PER PERSON\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nLadies Tea:\n\n\nDate: Tuesday\, June 23 – Time: 12:00 pm – 2:00 pm – No need to leave the fairgrounds!
