We will be spending five (5) days / four (4) nights at the Black Oak Casino RV Park in Tuolumne\, California. SUMMARY:Arizona Sun Catchers Chapter Rally
DESCRIPTION:We have planned an exciting rally in the Tucson area. There will be four (4) dinners\, three (3) breakfasts\, and donuts on departure day. Two outbound excursions are planned. One is a guided tour at the Pima Air & Space Museum that has an extensive display of all things aviation. You will be able to stay after the tour to continue viewing the various displays and approximate 400 aircraft. Also available to view is a building that houses an impressive exhibit commemorating the WWII 390th Bombardment Group. \nThe second outing is a narrated trolley ride up Sabino Canyon. April should have a colorful display of desert flowers and for those interested\, and there are extensive hiking trails to higher reaches of the canyon. \nThe $250 rally fee covers the above and is due not later than March 5th. You will also need to make your own site reservations at the Voyager RV Resort by March 5th. The spaces are full hook-up\, 100+ ft pull-through\, on level gravel/asphalt pads. The sites are $56.03 per night (includes tax) and can be reserved at that rate for 2 nights prior and post rally dates. There is a $50 deposit taken by Voyager that is fully refundable if cancelled 2 days prior to arrival. DESCRIPTION:Carl Webber\, from the Carolinas\, is now in charge of getting everyone parked and powered up. He has arranged for the Pelicans to park in the same U-shaped loop as we have in previous years. We have reserved the Newmar/North Trail Tent for Thursday\, January 18 at 5:00 pm. Your Florida Pelicans Klub will be hosting the “4th Annual Rib Fest” that evening in the tent. It will include Barbeque Ribs & Pulled Chicken. Members are asked to compliment the meal as follows: If your last name ends with A – K bring a Side Dish. If your name starts with L – Z please bring a Dessert to share. Doing this provides for such a great variety of dishes to choose from. Place setting will be provided\, but you’ll need to bring your own chair and non-alcoholic beverage. \nPlease plan on having your dish at the table by 5:30 pm as that is when the ribs will arrive. \nNon-Pelicans are welcome to attend. However\, there will be a nominal fee for the meal. The fee will be determined later (approximately $12 – $15) as we don’t have a final number from our caterer. It will be collected as you arrive at the tent. We had 87 folks in attendance last year. \nDuring the week the group can gather nightly at our loop for social time. SUMMARY:Tampa RV SuperShow Rally
DESCRIPTION:Join us for the Tampa SuperShow Rally. During this event we will be staying directly on the Florida State Fairgrounds. We will be in the same location as in past and will have our own efficient Newmar Parking Crew again this year. \nRally Fee Includes: \n\nFive (5) nights camping with 30 amp electric\nCoffee & Donuts four (4) mornings\nThree (3) nights of entertainment and refreshments (All entertainment provided by the Florida Trade Association in the Horse Arena area.)\nFree unlimited admission to the SuperShow every day.\nTram for the Newmar group\nOpportunity for service work by Newmar Techs\n\nRally Cost: (US Funds) \nRV with up to Two People:  $355.00\nEach Additional Guest:         $  45.00\nTotal amount due at time of booking. \nParking\nWe will once again break down our parking into two time frames and will take requests for either morning (8:00 am – 12:00 noon) or afternoon (1:00 pm – 4:00 pm) parking. If you arrive together\, we will try our best to park you together\, but in some cases due to sites available it may not be possible. \nService Work\nAs in the past Newmar will have their Service Techs at this event. Within your reservation packet will be a Service Request Form. Please complete and return it to the Service Department as soon as possible. \nNOTE: This event is dry camping. Be sure to arrive with full water tanks and empty holding tanks. \nAttention Klub Officers\nWe are offering a 10% discount to the first State/Provincial Director to register and a 5% discount to the first Chapter Officer to register. To qualify you must be in office at least 6 months. As a State/Provincial Director you must have held a rally in the past year or have one scheduled. As a chapter officer it must be an active chapter with at least one rally held in the past year. SUMMARY:Quartzsite Gathering in the Desert - Special Event
DESCRIPTION:Back by popular demand\, the Quartzsite\, Arizona Gathering in the Desert rally will combine three events starting on Sunday\, January 14\, 2024\, for early arrival for Jeeps and off-road vehicles (This activity is FULL). A discussion on four wheeling basic concepts will be held Sunday evening. Two days of off-road trail adventures on Monday and Tuesday of varying difficulty. For those two days\, we will run around on easy to challenging trails exploring the history and natural beauty that surrounds the Quartzsite area. There were 30 off-road vehicles at last year’s outing\, but we are already at 60 vehicles. \nWednesday\, January 17\, starts the annual pre-big tent rally which runs through Sunday. We will be running the second annual chili cook-off on Friday night and the US-Canadian rematch will be held for bragging rights (judges can be bribed but must be in US dollars and not loonies\, lol). Dinners\, including the cook-off\, will be provided from Wednesday through Saturday and potluck heavy hors d’oeuvres for Sunday. All attendees are asked to bring light snacks each afternoon. Seminars will be scheduled on Thursday and Friday mornings. Bonfires will occur each night\, weather permitting. We are also planning on music from Rocky\, who gave a great performance at this past year’s event. Lastly is the annual free Quartzsite Sports\, Vacation and RV Show (The Big Tent) from Saturday January 20th through the following Sunday.  Everyone is welcome to stay past our event to attend as many days as you need to take in all the sights of the big tent. \nWe will be Boondocking on BLM land (14 day Free pass). We hope to be able to give the free pass for BLM registration out at registration\, as in years past.  For those new to boondocking\, we will send out our updated primer in December. This is an easy way to be introduced into the joys of boondocking. \nAttendees do not need to be Newmar Klub members\, and all brands are welcome. Register below. NKK members are able to start registering online at the time of this posting. Non-members will be allowed to register online starting in September (type GUEST infield asking for member number). The rally fee is based on the anticipated number of rigs attending. We will be limiting the rig count to 150\, due to food logistics. Please postmark your payment no later than November 15\, 2023\, if paying by check. After that date\, there will be a link for online payment\, which must be paid by December 20\, 2023.  No onsite or walk-in registrations will be accepted. You will receive a confirmation of your registration/payment by email from the rally host\, once the payment has been received.
