This fee covers costs associated with processing rally registration. Members who register for a rally and then:    For whatever reason\, cancel a minimum of 35 days prior to the start of the rally will receive a full refund\, less an administrative fee of $10/person. Cancellations 34 to 8 days prior to the start of a rally will be charged for any non-refundable commitments made on their behalf in addition to the $10/person fee. Reservations will be accepted until July 1st\, but there are not guarantees of spaces after March 31st. Make your own reservations and mention the WV Newmar Kountry Klub. Sites are limited! We will travel to Beckley to tour the Exhibition Coal Mine. On the way back we will visit Tamarack which contains juried WV arts and crafts and a very good restaurant. We will also tour the Summit Bechtel Reserve which is the permanent 10\,000 acre site of the National Scout Jamboree. It is the new scout high adventure camp. Beth will be hosting her yearly WV style ramp dinner. Optional activities include the 3\,000 foot Zipline plus other shorter zips\, a canopy tour and white water rafting down the New River Gorge. You can also Visit the abandoned ghost coal town of Thurmond. There are several thrift shops and good restaurants in the area. The fee includes the coal mine tour\, lunch at the Scout Camp and the ramp dinner. You are invited to explore with us this definitive part of our history\, and gain better understanding of what this scientific research brought. \nOur two-stop caravan will take us from Albuquerque to the mesa tops of Los Alamos National Laboratory\, and to the deserts of White Sands Missile Range\, including a visit to the Trinity Site\, which is only open to the public twice a year. \nWe will gather in Albuquerque for a four-night stay\, and begin our experience with a welcome dinner\, and a visit to the National Museum of Nuclear Science and History (a Smithsonian museum). There\, we will be given a docent-led tour of the museum\, and learn how atomic science has evolved to help put men on the moon\, improve medical diagnosis and treatment\, and power our cities and industry. \nFrom Albuquerque\, fueled by a catered breakfast\, we will carpool 100 miles north to visit the “Secret City” of Los Alamos\, New Mexico\, where scientists lived and worked during the Manhattan Project.
