You must register on the NKK website in order to be counted as a participant.  When we receive your registration\,  we will add you to the email list of our attendees and you’ll be kept informed of all updates\,  and schedules and planned activities. \nDolores is a small gateway town with great access to archaeology\, water recreation\, hiking\, mountain biking and scenic drives. The elevation is 6\,936 and the average temperatures in September are highs of 75 and lows of 48.  Of course the main event here is Mesa Verde National Park which is just a short drive from the campground.  Some other options for activities are: \nWorld class cliff dwellings\, overlooks and museum at Mesa Verde National Park \nThe Anasazi Heritage Center \nMcPhee Reservoir- which is great for a full day outing \nCanyons of the Ancients National Monument \nTrail of the Ancients Scenic Byway and other local byways connecting historic and archaeological sites \nHovenweep National Monument and other Four Corners ruins that are nearby \nDurango is about 45-60 minutes away and is the home of the Durango & Silverton Narrow Gauge Railroad (a must do for this area!)  You can ride the train up to Silverton and then take the bus back to Durango.  This is a full day event. \nOutdoor activities like Fishing in the Dolores River and McPhee Reservoir\,  off roading and 4X4 touring\, paddle sports and boating\, hiking and mountain biking on the many trails in the canyon country. \nWe will be putting together some of these activities for you to enjoy\, and we’ll have some meals together\, evening fireside gatherings together\, and lots of comaraderie with your fellow Newmarians!  You will also have time to explore on your own. \nThere will be something for everybody at our event\, so sign up today so you will not miss this opportunity! The Region\, State/Provincial\, and Chapter Rally Cancellation Policy is as follows. 1. 2. 3. 4. An administrative fee of $10/person will be charged for all cancellations. This fee covers costs associated with processing rally registration. Members who register for a rally and then:    For whatever reason\, cancel a minimum of 35 days prior to the start of the rally will receive a full refund\, less an administrative fee of $10/person. Cancellations 34 to 8 days prior to the start of a rally will be charged for any non-refundable commitments made on their behalf in addition to the $10/person fee. Cancel 7 or less days prior to the start of a rally will receive no refund on any portion of the rally fee paid. All refunds will be made at the conclusion of the rally. Members who register for a rally and do not advise the Hosts that they will not be attending will receive no refund. Please note: Planning any rally requires long-term organization. Many service providers require non-refundable financial commitments. Because these deposits and financial commitments are often made well in advance of any rally\, this policy becomes a necessity.
