Below the craft descriptions is an area to choose which class or classes you would like to register for. You will receive a registration email after you have signed up. All craft classes (except Resin Jewelry Class) will take place in the Arena.
RESIN JEWELRY – SNAP BUTTONS
Participants will create resin jewelry with snap buttons and complete a necklace and bracelet with extra buttons, using charms and flowers in their choice of colors.
Student should supply: Nothing – everything is provided

CROCHET POTHOLDER CLASS
Learn to crochet a double-thick diagonal crochet potholder. The project is an easy/mindless pattern perfect for riding in the motorhome or sitting with a group of friends. We can make a small coaster size potholder or you can get started on a larger one and finish on your own.
Crochet skills needed: Chain (ch) and Single crochet (sc).
Student should supply: 2 skeins (same color) cotton yarn such as Lily Sugar ‘n Cream or Peaches & Cream, Crochet hook size F or G and needle with large eye-hole and blunt tip.

BEADED NECKLACE CLASS
Make a multi-strand, multi-color seed bead necklace. Instructions on how to start a necklace, how to string, how to end, and options. Optional earrings will be available for purchase. Class is for anyone 5 and older (as long as they are able to pay attention and focus and stay seated during the class).
Student should supply: Beads and stringing materials will be supplied. Tools will be available to use. If someone wants to add something special to their necklaces, they are welcome to bring them with them.

ZENTANGLE DRAWING CLASS
No drawing experience needed. Only desire to get immersed in the project. “Zen” is the takeover of the mind, and the tangles are the designs. Any adult or child can do it. Class is for anyone 5 and older (as long as they are able to pay attention and focus and stay seated during the class). This is a 2-hour class.

GREETING CARD CLASS
Make three (3) cute cards from a kit. Various themes and designs. Chat with your neighbor and have some fun. Everyone can do this!

SODA TAB LANYARD CLASS
Using soda tabs you will create a lanyard to wear your Newmar Kountry Klub name tag on.
You will receive enough supplies to make two lanyards. You will be able to choose two colors of ribbon for each lanyard before the class begins.
Student should supply: A smile – all other needed items will be supplied.

CHEROKEE BASKET CLASS
Traditionally, these baskets were woven with honeysuckle vines and other ﬁbers of the Midwest. We will use round reeds. The round reed is from natural ﬁber from the Asian vine, Cajamus Rotang. The Reeds will be wet as we weave. The baskets will be about 4” tall and 5” across. The baskets will all be slightly diﬀerent in shape.
Student should supply: A towel, small bucket, scissors or vine cutters, crochet hook or tool used to push your cuticles back if you want your own private tools. (For yourself, bring a closed drink so it doesn’t spill and a snack)
