Hi New Jersey Garden Aires,

It’s been quite a while since anything has been written for the Klub from New Jersey.  One of the reasons for this is the fact that Bill and I, and Rose & Ray Wofle are not officially the officers of the chapter.  We tried to resign at the end of the year, but there were no takers for any of the positions.  Both we and the Wofles have decided to hang on until we can get volunteers for the positions.  I hope something will happen at the fall rally.

The fall rally is being held together with The Keystone Kountry Kampers at Country Acres Campground in Lancaster County.  We have 18 spots available.  It is full hook-up, 50 Amp and cable.  The cost is $150.00.  We are trying something new with this rally.  Since most attendees show up at least a day early, we have made reservations for the group from Thursday September 9th to Sunday September 12th.  Thursday will be a “hospitality get together”.  Bring your beverage and a snack to the campfire.  We’ll sit around, relax and catch up with our friends.  Friday will be a dinner provided by the Co Hosts, the Steinbergers and the Fowlers.  Saturday and Sunday morning we’ll have a continental breakfast.   Saturday night will be at a restaurant of your choice, optional of course; or a Pot Luck dinner.  We will vote on that when we all arrive. Lancaster is a very popular destination, and the rates reflect that.  We have tried to keep it as economical as possible.  Checks can be sent to William Steinberger at 100 Democrat Road, Mickleton, NJ 08056.  Extended stays have to contact Country Acres directly.

We attended the Keystone/Garden Aires Spring Rally at Camp Swatara.  It was a very nice gathering, a great time, and a very nice facility. The Christmans and Henrys did a wonderful job.  Thanks guys!  We just returned from the PA State Rally in Erie.  It also was well attended, with members from the Allegheny Klub, Keystone, and Garden Aires.  There were also members from Ohio and Canada.

Our next trip is to the International and we hope to see a nice turn out from New Jersey.
