   Happy Father's Day to all of our wonderful men. The camping season for Michigan has started and the first one was held at Pine Ridge Campground, in Birch Run with the Michigan Aires. The hosts were Ron and Rosemary Oakes(15229) and John and Freida Clouse(15330L). There was a good turn out for their first rally. The second rally was held at Traverse Bay Resort in Acme where the Michigan Great Lakers had another good turn out. The host's for that rally were Curt and Sue Hurson(10325L). As always it was a great rally and it was nice to see and to talk with everyone that we hadn't seen in a while.   

   The State Rally is almost here and we are hoping that the weather and the lilacs will be perfect. If you want to check to see if we still have space available please give us a call.

   In July the MI Aires will be going to Shipshewanee, Indiana. The date is July 6-9, which is a Monday thru Thursday. The hosts for this rally will be John and Judy VanLoo(601L) and Tom and Linda Pikaart(11588L). You will need to call Judy for reservations at 616-772-9980. 

   The MI Great Lakers will have their rally July 13-15 at River Ridge Resort near Big Rapids, with Paul and Bonnie Howell(13168) and John and Carolyn Williams(14030) hosting.  Call Bonnie at 810-765-9594 to make your reservations for this rally.

   Let's not forget about the International Rally on August 3-8 in Goshen, Indiana. If you are planning to go as a caravan don't forget to send in everyone's information in one envelope. We would like to thank all of you that have volunteered to work at the International.

   Don't forget to check the Konnection and Newmar's website for any other rally that you would like to attend.

   We would like to wish all the ladies a Happy Mother’s Day.

   The rallies have begun. The first rally, held at Pine Ridge Campground in Birch Run, May 8-10 with Ron & Rosemary Oakes (15229) and John & Frieda Clouse (15330L) hosting. We’re sure there were some that went to Tony D for their famous Hot Fudge Sundae. The next rally was held at Traverse Bay Resort, May 15-17, with Curt & Sue Hurson (10325L) and Eugene & Arleen McBride (12010) hosting, where we‘re sure all had a good time and the food was wonderful, as usual.
The State Rally June 11-14 is coming soon and we hope everyone that wants to go has their reservation in. Remember if you want to come in early, you need to call Mill Creek Campground at 231-436-5584. We have 50 sites reserved. Also, just a reminder, the State Rally starts on Thursday, June 11 and early bird is Wednesday, June 10. You can get a disclaimer either in the magazine or on line at the Region 6 site under the Michigan site on www.newmarkountryklub.com
The International Rally this year will be in Goshen, Indiana, August 1-8, and if you are going to caravan you need to have all your information for everyone and submit it at one time.

   We would like to wish everyone a Happy Easter. We hope by the time you read this we will be back in Michigan from our winter in Yuma, AZ. We found out that there are quite a few people from Michigan that go to Arizona.
    Camping season is just about upon us again here in Michigan. The first two rallies of the season are MI Aires May 8-10, at Pine Ridge Campground, in Birch Run with Ron & Rosemary Oakes #15229 and John & Frieda Clouse #15330L hosting, and the MI Great Lakers at Traverse Bay Resort on May 15-17 where Curt & Sue Hurson #10325L are hosting. Check the Calendar of Events for the contact person, telephone numbers and deadline for reservations. The Great Lakers are still in need of hosts for their September rally at Hidden Ridge Campground in Hopkins.
   The State Rally is set for June 11-14 at Mill Creek Campground in Mackinaw City. This will start on Thursday and end on Sunday, with Wednesday being the early bird day. The cost this year will be $300; we know that this is higher than our other rallies, but we think that everyone will have a good time. We have a lot planned. If you want to come in early you will need to contact the campground. The number you will have to call will be on the disclaimer and in the Calendar of Events. We have 50 sites reserved and hope that we will be able to fill them all. The Lilac Festival will be happening on the Island when we are there. So, please get your reservations in early.
   Let us not forget those that are not feeling well and are in need of our prayers. Also remember our service men and women who make it possible for all of us to enjoy this great country.
