NEVADA

 

              Gayle and I have been camping or RVing since we first married back in 1959.  We probably started like a lot of others, first a tent, then a pop up, then a travel trailer, and now a Newmar Northern Star motor home.  We have camped in every state except North Dakota, Alaska, and Hawaii.  We are currently  the wagonmasters for our local RV CLUB, the Sun City RV Club, located in Las Vegas, Nevada.  In that club we coordinate campouts with 2 couples a month and help them get everything in order for a successful outing.  We enjoy 4-wheeling and snowmobiling with our 2 children and 3 grandchildren when we go to the mountains in Utah.  At home we enjoy swimming, golfing and softball.

              We accepted the challenge of taking on the Nevada State Director job for the Newmar Kountry Klub because we wanted to broaden our horizons, meet more people and get a little more involved in the Newmar Kountry Klub.  Right now we have a Nevada State Rally set up for November in Pahrump, Nevada.  It is at the Nevada Treasure Luxury RV Resort for 4 nights and 5 days. The cost has been confirmed at $185.00 per couple and should be a lot of fun. Breakfasts, dinners, bowling, golfing, and games have been planned for your enjoyment.  We will get notices out via snail mail shortly with all the details and are hoping for a tremendous turnout.  Weather in Nevada in November should be very nice-- warm, but not hot, cool at night, but not cold.  We would appreciate any suggestions fellow Kountry Klub members might suggest to enhance this outing.  We will be traveling to Tucson in March for the Region 1 Rally and are looking forward to meeting some of you good people there.
