                                    NEW MEXICO STATE UPDATE                       Posted 08/28/10

      We had the opportunity to attend the Utah State Rally in Virgin, UT and the Region 1 Rally in Jackson, CA.   Both were great events!

    Our next Chile Pepper rally that was scheduled in Eagles Nest, NM, July 17–20, has been cancelled due to lack of attendees as a lot of us are on the road this summer!  Congratulations Chile Peppers for using that huge investment of yours!!!

    August 5–8 will be the joint rally with Colorado Kruisin’ Aires hosting.  Creede, Colorado will be the spot and if you are in the area, everyone is invited.  Look to the Colorado area of the Newmar Kountry Klub website for all the details.

    Jack and Diana Ryan will be hosting our Rally in Las Vegas, New Mexico Sept. 16 – 19.  The area is rich in history.  While there are no casinos in our Las Vegas, it will be a great Rally, because we are the Chile Peppers.  We will be back from Alaska and plan to be there on our way to Santa Fe for the State Rally.  The Rally will be at the Las Vegas, NM KOA, 505-454-0180, $28 for 30 amp service and $30 for 50 amp service.  Reservation deadline is August 16th.  Call Tom Thompson 505-362-6043 or email outbacktom@mac.com for reservations and details.  The rally fee $50.    

    The New Mexico State Rally will be October 7–10 at Santa Fe Skies RV Resort in beautiful Santa Fe.  The Rally fee is $200 including your parking, 3 breakfasts, and a lunch at Rancho de Chimayo with time to tour the famous church and do a little shopping.  Also included will be 2 dinners.  Since we will be away for the summer to Alaska, our contact information will be as follows.  Reservation deadline will be September 6.  All Reservations should be made through the Wagner’s or Kelsey’s.

     What a wonderful Chile Pepper rally that the Thompson’s and Leuenburgers put together in Las Cruces.  If you weren’t there, then you really missed something!!!  Thanks so much.
