We will meet in Halifax, Nova Scotia, and take in some sights. From there, we’ll drive to Cape Breton Island, camp for 1 night and visit local attractions before boarding the ferry for our crossing to Newfoundland. We will camp overnight in Argentia and explore the South coast then spend several days in St John’s, Newfoundland, sightseeing in the “Oldest City in North America”, and will visit Cape Spear, the Eastern most point in North America. On our way to the “West Coast” we’ll visit the picturesque towns of Trinity, Bonavista and Twillingate where we hope to see some huge icebergs. Then, it’s on to Rocky Harbor and the Gros Morne National Park. From there, we head to L’Anse Aux Meadows where the Vikings landed in approximately 1000AD. We’ll explore the Norstead Viking Village. On the wy back to Nova Scotia we’ll visit CornerBrook, the third largest city in Newfoundland and Rose Blanche, home of the only lighthouse in the world restored from ruins. The caravan will end in Baddeck, Nova Scotia with a “farewell” buffet breakfast.

| NOTICE: We have made our “best guess” as to the Canadian Dollar versus the US Dollar in figuring the costs for this rally. We also have to take into consideration the “surcharge” the Ferry is currently charging. If there is a significant devaluation of the US Dollar and the Ferry surcharge is increased we MAY have to increase the overall cost of the Caravan at a future date. If these charges exceed 10% of the overall cost of the Caravan, you will be given the option of canceling out of the Caravan. |
