Virginia Wheelers Wheeling to 2017 NKK Adventures

Virginia Wheelers enjoyed the exciting Tri-State (NC, SC, VA) Mayberry Rally at Mayberry Campground in Mt. Airy, NC. September 14-18. Special thanks to Charlie & Deane Grebinger, Philip Melvin, & Becky Garner for an outstanding job of entertaining us with many fun-filled activities. Everyone enjoyed laughing together during the movie trivia and mini-golf tournament. Exploring Mt. Airy was exciting and we certainly gained many pounds as we devoured food at the variety of restaurants. Even more special was the opportunity to make new friends with NKK members from NC & SC and renew friendships with Virginia Wheels’ family.

Virginia Wheelers Wheeling to 2017 NKK Adventures

Thank You, John & Betty Warhol, for your seven years as our Virginia State Directors! Not only have you supported our NKK Virginia Wheels’ chapter, but you have provided us with fun-filled adventures at all our Virginia State rallies. Beginning with Luray’s Birthday Bash, you have taken us to NC, Williamsburg, Powhatan, Fredericksburg, Surry, and finally Greenwood. We’ve explored many areas along the way, made new friends, renewed friendships, and we have all enjoyed your fellowship. Thanks for Everything!!

Virginia Wheelers Wheeling to 2017 NKK Adventures

Between August 6-14 Virginia Wheelers, past & present, and buddies had a wonderful time at our Y’All Come Gathering at Chesapeake Bay TT in Gloucester, VA. Food was in abundance! Dining out, steamed shrimp potluck, and ice cream daily at the Trading Post all added up to at least 10#. The American Revolution Museum in Yorktown was fantastic! All galleries are now open with extraordinary displays and movies! Outdoor exhibits have been renovated from last year and are very interesting. Donk’s Theatre, VA’s Little Ole’ Opry was excellent. The Chicken Soup Gang was especially entertaining with their Statler Brothers’ and Oak Ridge Boys’ songs. All of us enjoyed our time together!
