Another Camping season has ended, except for Pete. He will be tenting it in the Great North Woods, during Deer Hunting season. I don’t know what we will do with the venison as we still have some left over from last year.

We were sad to lose the Lundmark’s. Judy and Stan are off on a different type of travel. I heard they had a wonderful time on a tour shortly after selling their Motor Home to Bob and Carol. We will miss Stan and Judy, but hope Bob and Carol will join the Loons.

Thank you, Joyce and Ray for a great Reunion Dinner. The food was great and the company was fantastic.

Everyone had fun at the Hinckley Rally. I heard that a few of the girls had fun playing Bingo. It is always fun to sit around the campfire. Again, thank you, Ray and Joyce. What would we do without your fantastic planning abilities?

Congratulation to our new officers: Ken Neukircher, President; Ron Scavo, Vice President; Dianna Neukircher, Treasurer; Jeannette Shereck, Secretary.
Best wishes and safe travels to all.

Pete and Joan Neururer (16603) Minnesota State DirectorsGreetings from Minnesota,

Our Official Minnesota Rally Season ended early this year.  Our State Rally in June was our final summer rally of the year. We had a great time and enjoyed the beautiful Clemens/ Munsinger Gardens and a very informative Stearns History Museum. The men were not gentlemen and beat the Ladies handily at Bean Bag Baseball.

We are looking forward to our Annual Reunion Dinner in Bloomington, July 26th at the Knights of Columbus Hall. Please call Joyce Korsten, (612-866-5865) for reservations.

Joyce Korsten is also going to have a gathering at Hinckley again this year. Plan on meeting in Hinckley September 22 thru the 24th.

Come join the fun, join the Minnesota Loons!

Best Wishes and Safe Travels to All!

We enjoyed a wonderful winter in Biloxi, Mississippi, Panama Beach Florida, and Orange Beach, Alabama. The highlight of the trip for me was the fantastic Craft Shows we attended, the Sea Food and of course the to die for Bread Pudding. For Pete it was the Boats, or maybe the Low Rider Truck Show (those trucks were customized by the owner and valued in the $100’s of thousands). The paint jobs were amazing.

We were traveling with Frank and Jeanette Shereck and had a wonderful time with them. We played cards and saw Alligators at Alligator Alley. We bought alligator eggs for our two youngest grandchildren. They were so excited about watching them hatch. They asked me if the eggs were real, I asked them what they thought. Then Kate said, in a very serious tone “when they get too big we will donate them to a zoo”. We experienced beautiful sunsets and watched Dolphins jump through the waves. Life is beautiful.
