I hope you are all signed up and getting ready for the International. We won't be attending this year. On July 24th my husband, Jack, passed out at the breakfast table. I couldn't wake him up. I called 911. We live five blocks from the hospital, so they were here in three min. An ambulance, a firetruck and a police car showed up. By the time they got him out of his chair and to the floor, he was gone.
The woman EMT started chest compressions and brought him back. My prayer was answered when he opened his eyes. He had a pacemaker put in last Friday, and doing he's fine. This episode taught us a one good lesson. Live day each day to the fullest, because you never know when it will be the last.
We were supposed to have our state rally starting today, August 11th, I'm happy I canceled it. We are both exhausted.
I really don't have any other thing to talk about. I hope everyone enjoys our Region Four Rally, and The International Rally in October.
